Privacy

Buldrs is for entrepreneurs aged 13 to 18. We ask for a date of birth when you register and block accounts under 13. That's a self-reported answer, checked on our servers so it can't be skipped — it isn't age or identity verification, and we never describe it as one.

Making an account collects an email address, a password (which we never see in plain text — it's hashed before it's stored), and a date of birth. Setting up a profile collects a username, display name, bio, "what I'm building", and an avatar photo if you add one.

If you set up a business we also collect its name, description, logo, store link and category. Posts, comments, likes and follows are collected as you use the app. So are the sales, expenses and daily notes you choose to log for your own business.

Your date of birth is stored on your login record and used only to check you're 13 or older. It's never displayed to anyone, never returned by the app to a browser it doesn't need to be in, and never shown on your profile. Other people only ever see a rounded age range, like "15–16".

Your email address, exact age, phone number, location and IP address are never shown to other users. There are no phone number or location fields anywhere on Buldrs — we don't collect them and aren't planning to.

Phone photos usually carry hidden data, including the exact GPS coordinates of where they were taken. Every image you upload is decoded and re-processed on our servers, and that hidden data is stripped out before the picture is stored — the original file you uploaded is never kept or shown to anyone. Photos are also stored privately and only ever reached through a link that expires, not a public address.

Sales, expenses, orders and the daily notes you log about your business are private by default. There's no setting that makes a revenue, profit or expense figure visible to anyone else — that's built into how the app works, not just a setting you could accidentally change.

Buldrs' database is hosted by Supabase, in the United States. Uploaded photos are held in private cloud storage from the same provider.

The landing page, a small preview of Explore, and these legal pages are public. Everything else — profiles, the feed, posts and businesses — requires an account. None of it is indexed by search engines, so a founder's profile won't turn up in a Google search.

We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising on Buldrs. We share data only with the providers that run the service itself — hosting, the database, photo storage, and, when it's turned on, the provider that sends account emails. None of them are allowed to use your data for their own purposes.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your login and profile details. "Delete" on a post or comment means it's taken out of everyone's view immediately; a copy is kept out of sight rather than erased, so a moderator can review what was reported. This is the same trade every platform with human moderation makes.

We may update this policy as Buldrs changes. If we make a meaningful change we'll make that clear on this page. Last updated 21 September 2026.

Buldrs is run by a small team. There isn't a separate contact address for privacy questions yet — the one thing you can act on directly, without waiting on anyone, is deleting your account from your account settings, described above.
