Buldrs is for 13 to 18 year olds. Registration asks for a date of birth, not a checkbox, and the check runs on our servers so it can't be skipped.

We take your word for your date of birth, the same way almost every platform online does. It is not identity checking and it is not age verification — someone could enter a false date. What it does do is stop anyone from clicking past an obvious "under 13" answer, and it means we never show anyone's exact age, only a rounded range.

Buldrs has no DMs, no inbox and no private chat, on purpose. Private messaging between an adult and a minor is the riskiest thing a platform like this can offer, and it isn't something we'll add without moderation built to handle it. Everything on Buldrs — posts, comments, likes, follows — happens in the open, where it can be seen and reported.

Every post, comment, profile and business can be reported in one tap. Reports go to a queue that only moderators can see, and every report is reviewed by a person — Buldrs doesn't use automated content moderation. You can also block someone so they can't interact with you and you don't see them.

Posting, commenting, following and reporting are all limited to a sensible pace, so no one account can flood the app or harass someone with a wave of activity.

Reports have a distinct "self-harm" category. Choosing it shows you crisis support resources immediately, before your report even finishes sending — this is the one part of Buldrs that never waits on anything else.

Don't post your address, phone number, school, or where you'll be and when. Buldrs has no field that asks for any of that, and never will. If someone asks you for it, report them.

When you upload a photo, we strip the hidden location data out of it on our servers before anyone else can see it, so a product photo taken at home doesn't give away where home is.

Buldrs doesn't have parental controls or a way for a parent or guardian to see an account's activity. We'd rather say that plainly than let anyone assume a protection exists that doesn't. If you're a parent or guardian, talk to the teenager using Buldrs directly about how they're using it.

Buldrs doesn't handle payments and isn't part of any sale you make. If you're meeting a customer in person, meet somewhere public and bring an adult. If a deal feels wrong, walk away — no sale is worth it.

Report it in the app. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first — we can't respond faster than they can.

The report button on any post, comment, profile or business is how a safety concern reaches us — every report is read by a person, not a bot. If you want to stop seeing or being contacted by someone specific, blocking them does that immediately. There isn't a separate safety contact address right now; report and block are the two tools that actually exist today.
